Aduana FC handed their top four chances a huge boost after defeating Young Apostles 3-1 to hand their regional rivals a reality check as they stir the drop.
Veteran forward Bright Agyei climbed off the bench to inspire the Ogya lads after winning a penalty and scoring his side’s third.
Patrick Mensah netted a brace which was sandwiched by Husseine Issah’s consolation for Young Apostles.
Following a quick start by the hosts, it did not take long before Mensah opened the scoring with a ferocious strike.
However, with ten minutes to half time, Issah responded with an equally good shot.
After the break, Salim Baafada was replaced by Agyei who forced a penalty with 15 minutes remaining. Mensah elected himself for the spot kick and made no mistake.
Agyei then sealed victory with few minutes left to record an emphatic final home game win.
