2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations: Several of our players will standout at the end of tournament – Ghana coach Desmond Ofei

The head coach of Ghanas Black Satellites, Desmond Ofei, is confident that several of his players will emerge as stars at the end of the 2025 U20 CAF Africa Cup of Nations.The coach is leading the Satellites to this years AFCON in hopes of clinching a fifth title.Speaking to CAFOnline before the start of the tournament in Egypt, Coach Desmond Ofei spoke about the abundance of talent in the squad he is taking to the tournament.He said he believes many of the players in his squad will emerge as standout players at the end of the tournament.We have talent across all positions defenders, midfielders, attackers. Id prefer not to single out individuals now, but I believe several of our players will emerge as names to remember by the end of this competition, Coach Ofei said.Ghanas Black Satellites will kick off their campaign at the U20 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday, May 2, when they take on DR Congo.The Group C showdown is scheduled to kick off at 18:00 GMT.
