Ernest Nuamah has highlighted the unity and intensity within the Black Stars camp as Ghana continue preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and their upcoming friendly against Wales.
The Olympique Lyonnais winger, who is returning from a long-term ACL injury, has quickly integrated into the squad after joining the provisional 28-man roster in Cardiff under head coach Carlos Queiroz.
The Black Stars began training at Dragon Park on May 25, 2026, with Nuamah participating fully as the technical team evaluates players ahead of the final squad reduction to 26.
With competition for places intensifying, the winger stressed the importance of collective focus and tactical discipline as Ghana sharpen their approach for the tournament in North America.
Speaking on the atmosphere in camp, Nuamah noted the commitment of his teammates and the need to adapt to the coach’s demands as preparations intensify before the June 2 friendly at Cardiff City Stadium.
“But it feels good like everyone is dedicated. We are all happy and ready to give it all for the competition and we know like what is ahead of us and what we want to achieve as you know like every coach and how they want to play and like we need to adapt to a style of play which is like the most important.”
Ghana will later face Panama, England and Croatia in Group L.
