After a measured introduction to Italian football, Gabriel has become absolutely undroppable this season—featuring in all 14 of Lecce’s Serie A matches and turning heads across Europe with his commanding displays.
It’s easy to see why the Hammers are interested. With 29 goals conceded in just 15 games—the second-worst record in the Premier League—Graham Potter’s side desperately needs defensive reinforcement.
