Americans Abroad Weekend Preview: Pulisic, Aaronson, and more

AC Milan may be heading into the weekend 10 points back of rivals Inter in the Serie A title race, but a Milan Derby victory on Sunday could just keep their slim title hopes alive.

Christian Pulisic and his Rossoneri teammates will prepare for their final showdown of the season with Inter, knowing a statement result is needed. Pulisic is also needing a strong performance of his own after a quiet second half of the season.

The U.S. men’s national team star has failed to score or assist in each of his 10 appearances for the Rossoneri, which has led to growing panic from his club and international fanbases. Despite having 10 goals to his name, Pulisic needs to get back on track and fast, or AC Milan could potentially slip out of the top-four picture by May’s end.

Recent history has been on AC Milan’s side, with Massimiliano Allegri’s side riding a six-match head to head unbeaten run against their local rivals. However, form is on Inter’s, with the league leaders winning eight-straight Serie A matches for the first time since March 2024.

Elsewhere in Italy, Weston McKennie and Juventus host Pisa in Serie A action.

Elsewhere in England, Brenden Aaronson and Leeds United face Norwich City in FA Cup play while Patrick Agyemang and Haji Wright continue their EFL Championship schedules.

In Germany, Noahkai Banks and Augsburg take on RB Leipzig. Joe Scally, Gio Reyna and Borussia Moenchengladbach kick off the weekend against league-leading Bayern Munich.

Elsewhere, Mark McKenzie and Toulouse face off with Tim Weah and Marseille in Ligue 1 play. Auston Trusty and Celtic take a second trip to Rangers this week. George Bello and LASK host Wolfsberger in Austrian Bundesliga action. Donovan Pines and Grazer AK visit WSG Tirol. Rokas Pukstas and Hajduk Split face off with rivals Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia. Bryan Reynolds and Westerlo visit OH Leuven as Belgian First Division action rolls on.
