Nottingham Forest keeper Batty signs new deal

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Emily Batty has signed a new contract with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Tricky Trees this evening.

It has been reported that the 27-year-old stopper has signed on again at The City Ground until summer 2027.

Batty joined Nottingham Forest from Sheffield United back in 2021 and she has gone on to establish herself in the side. The keeper was a member of the Nottingham Forest team that won the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division title last season and she has continued to play a key role for the club this term.

Batty has played for Nottingham Forest in all 15 matches in Barclays WSL2 this season, keeping three clean sheets along the way. She has helped the club ease into life in the professional game.

After signing her new deal with Nottingham Forest, Batty said “I’m over the moon to have signed a new contract with the Club.

“I love playing my football here and I can’t wait to achieve even more with this talented group of players and staff.”

Nottingham Forest return to action following the latest international window when they travel to Sunderland to contest a Barclays WSL2 fixture on Wednesday night.
