If Matt Law, a known Aston Villa fan, is saying that he is p****d off with what is going on at Chelsea right now, then what hope do actual Chelsea fans have?
I think this is the deepest sign of how bad it is at our club right now that I have come across.
Law is obviously a Chelsea reporter so he does end up getting invested in what goes on at the club he reports on. But for him to say even he is angry with what is going on right now, really does say it all.
Matt Law:
“It’s really p*****g me off at the moment that every game currently seems to end with everybody giving up… That is not the football club that I have become accustomed and very privileged to cover.
“Chelsea haven’t had a 40,000 attendance yet this season. The last 40,000 attendance was the opening day of the 2023-24 season vs Liverpool. They have not had a 40,000 attendance since then. I could not believe that.”
Very damming words from a Villa fan.
And believe me Matt, we as Chelsea fans do not recognise our club right now either.
The worrying thing is not knowing what is around the corner either.
Clearlake have ZERO intentions of selling their stake in Chelsea and are in for the long run. They will only hold their investment.
Chelsea fans have every right to be very concerned about the Chelsea Football Club that we have known and grown to love.
I’d really like to give you some positive hopium, but I’ve heard a lot from very good sources this week, and I’m just not feeling at all positive right now.
Even with all that said, it’s time people this weekend, do your thing. Let’s do all we can…..
