Endrick Felipe, a 19-year-old Brazilian striker on loan from Real Madrid to Lyon without an option to buy, spoke to Canal+ Foot about his hypothetical return to the Spanish club next season.

“Do I have a chance to stay at Olympique Lyon? Honestly, I don’t know. I’m here on loan for six months,” said the Brazil international.
Endrick, who has established himself as one of the revelations of the second half of the Ligue 1 season, was ambiguous when asked about his hypothetical return to Madrid next season: “If I have to go back to Real Madrid, I will be happy to do so. And if I have to go somewhere else, I will do that too.”

Endrick, who has become one of the idols of the OL fans, has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in the 18 matches he has played in all competitions with the French team.
“I really hope that we can get Lyon into the Champions League; that’s where OL belongs,” said the young striker, once again reminding that “I’m here on loan for six months.”

Endrick has shown that he has integrated perfectly into life in Lyon and French culture.
“I’m taking classes and learning French. I learned a lot from the French speakers at Real Madrid. Camavinga is my friend. Mbappe and I sat together, that’s how I started to learn the language,” he told Canal Plus.
Douglas Sousa, speaking to SportsCenter ESPN Brazil, confessed that his son Endrick sees himself playing in the World Cup this summer: “Expectations are high.”
“Endrick believes that if he performs well in the next few games, he could go to the World Cup,” Douglas Sousa commented, who also referred to Real Madrid when asked.
“Endrick has a phrase that says that his amusement park is the soccer field. And in Madrid, somehow, they took away that amusement park. What he wants is to play soccer… Now he has found that happiness. My daughter-in-law (Gabriely Miranda) was instrumental in Endrick going to Lyon and he is happy. We are all happy, that’s the most important thing,” the Brazilian’s father told ESPN Brazil.
