The USA closed out the three-match series with a stellar 3-0 shutout. There were many positive results from this match, but the most uplifting stat of the game was witnessing Kennedy Wesley record her debut goal for the senior team. Not only that, Wesley also put up an assist for Girma’s goal in the 47th minute!
Aside from Wesley and Girma, Lavelle continued to shine in this third match of the series. She scored and was again assisted by Trinity Rodman. The Lavelle-Rodman duo is surely a lethal one on the pitch, and versatile as either of the two can be on the scoring or assisting end.
