Brighton and Hove Albion head coach Dario Vidosic was less than happy with his team’s point against Manchester United on Saturday.
Jelena Cankovic opened the scoring in the first half – but Lea Schuller equalised in stoppage time to share the points.
But although his side remain sixth in the Women’s Super League table, Vidosic was not pleased with his side’s second-half display in particular.
“It’s disappointing and I’m quite frustrated, especially by the second-half performance,” he said after the match, according to the club’s official website.
“It feels a bit like we have thrown away two points rather than United taking it away from us.
“We can’t be at that level only for 45 minutes and expect to win.”
Dario Vidosic: We will review it before Arsenal game
Vidosic went on: “In the first half we were the better team. We scored a good goal from our press which was something we had been working on and had a couple of other half chances where we should have done better.
“In the second half when we calmed things down and passed the ball we created a really good chance which we weren’t able to put away and after that I’d describe it as quite an immature performance by us.
“But we will review it and work on things. We’ve got a big week so we will see how everyone is and then prepare for a big game against Arsenal on Wednesday.”
