Everything has come together for the Utah Royals, the Orlando Pride must stop leaking goals and the performances of four superb individual players boost their teams in Matchweek 6.

In the battle of former pretenders, Utah could be legitimate playoff contenders

In recent times, few would have circled Utah Royals versus Houston Dash as one of the most intriguing matches of the week. However, entering Wednesday’s match, both teams found themselves above the playoff line. It is a remarkable fact, given both teams combined have a grand total of one playoff appearance through 16 total seasons (Houston in 2022).

Utah are making a run for their first ever postseason appearance, as they handily defeated Houston, 2-0. They suffocated the Dash with their high press, and did not allow a shot until the 79th minute. The Royals are now on a five match winning streak and have not conceded a goal in 378 minutes (a club record).
