Ghanaian teenager Nana Kofi Donkor was on the scoresheet on Thursday as he inspired FC Dinamo Tbilisi to secure a 2-1 victory over Spaeri FC in the Georgian Erovnuli Liga.
The 19-year-old started the Round 9 encounter and played the full 90 minutes at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena as Dinamo Tbilisi claimed an important home win.
The hosts made a strong start to the contest and eventually took the lead in the 29th minute through Donkor, who finished brilliantly after receiving an assist from Saba Kharebashvili.
Dinamo Tbilisi extended their advantage just five minutes later when Mate Vatsadze found the back of the net following a setup from Nikoloz Ninua.
With a comfortable lead heading into halftime, the home side controlled large portions of the second half and managed to withstand pressure from Spaeri for most of the game.
The visitors eventually reduced the deficit in the 82nd minute through Zurab Golubiani, but Dinamo Tbilisi held on to secure all three points.
The goal was Donkor’s second of the season after nine appearances since the start of the 2026 Erovnuli Liga campaign.
