German Bundesliga outfits, TSG Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart have joined the race for the acquisition of England-born Ghanaian winger Cameron Ashia.
The 19-year-old, who plies his trade for English League One with Huddersfield Town has attracted significant suitors following an impressive campaign.
With his contract expiring at the end of the season, several clubs in Europe including Hoffenheim and Stuttgart have expressed firm interest to capture his signature as they seeks to bolster their squad for the new campaign.
Besides, Scottish giants Celtic, Rangers, and English outfits Fulham, Burnley, Ipswich Town, Southampton, and Sheffield United are all said to be interested in the in-demand winger.
Ashia has been outstanding for Huddersfield Town this season, making 31 appearances, scoring six goals and providing three assists across competitions.
The 19-year-old joined Huddersfield from Derby’s youth team and has since established himself as a key member of the team this campaign.
Born to Ghanaian parents in England, the enterprising winger remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana despite representing England at the youth level.
