The numbers behind Arsenal’s Premier League title win

Arsenal are Premier League champions for 2025-26 with the Gunners celebrating a memorable campaign.

It’s often said the table does not lie and Arsenal’s underlying data demonstrates that the North Londoners have been the Premier League’s finest side this season.

We’ve delved into some of the table-topping numbers.

The league-leading numbers behind Arsenal’s Premier League title win

Most clean sheets (19)

For the third consecutive campaign, Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has claimed the league’s Golden Glove award. The Spaniard has become only the third goalkeeper to win three straight accolades, with Arsenal boasting a league-leading 19 clean sheets.

Fewest goals conceded (26)

Unsurprisingly, Arsenal have conceded the fewest goals in the Premier League. It’s the fourth consecutive campaign that Arsenal have had the Premier League’s best defensive record, with Mikel Arteta having built his team from back to front. Arsenal have conceded the fewest shots per game (8.2) of any side.

Most set-piece goals (24)

Set piece again, ole, ole.

It’s been a regular chant at the Emirates this season, as Arsenal have hurt opposition teams from set-pieces. Their 24 goals from set pieces, excluding penalties, is the highest number of any team.

Most headed goals (16)

As a result, Arsenal have scored the most headed goals in the Premier League. Mikel Merino has led the way for the Gunners with three headed goals this season. Arsenal also lead the Premier League for goals scored from inside the six-yard box (19), after packing penalty boxes all season.

Declan Rice has been responsible for the majority of deliveries, with only two Premier League players taking more corner kicks than the England midfielder (96).
