Here’s a look at some stats and minutiae following Week 10 of the 2026 National Women’s Soccer League season. We’ll keep evolving this space every week to try and keep you informed. Have an idea or an addition? Hit me up: @thedanlauletta on Bsky or X.
All statistics reference regular season games only except where noted.
Individual stats:
- Ryan Williams has now played—and started—50 consecutive regular season games for the Courage. She last missed a match on June 15, 2024, after being double-booked the previous match. Williams appeared in 36 in a row before her sending off.
- Defender Kate Del Fava remains minute-perfect for the Royals, having played all 5,760 minutes over 64 games since the team launched in 2024. Those are the longest streaks from the start of any expansion team.
- Courage goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan won her 58th career game on Sunday and is now tied with Jane Campbell for 5th all-time. They are one behind Nicole Barnhart’s 59. Campbell leads Sheridan in career saves, 644-to-639. They are 2nd and 3rd behind Alyssa Naeher’s 743.
- Goalkeeper Mandy McGlynn is now unbeaten in 7 straight decisions, which dates back to the 2025 finale. That ties the Royals’ club record McGlynn set from August-October of last year.
- Evelyn Ijeh has scored in three straight for the Courage—her first three NWSL goals.
- Thorns forward Sophia Wilson hits the break on 49 career goals and would be the 9th to reach 50. Jess Fishlock is also on 49 but has not played since April 26 due to injury.
- Kaleigh Kurtz has now played 125 consecutive regular season matches and 11,322 consecutive minutes. Both are league records. The streaks began June 26, 2021, while playing for the Courage (the unrounded number is due to a rain-shortened match in 2023).
- Two players made NWSL debuts in Week 10. Local product Sophia Lowenberg logged seven minutes for the Legacy in their loss in Kansas City. Lowenberg was born in Connecticut and signed with the expansion club after playing at Boston College. Karsyn Cherry played one minute for Angel City. The rookie played her college ball at the University of Louisville.
Team stats:
- The Utah Royals are now unbeaten in 10 straight, extending their club record and extending the longest run of wins/draws in the league this season. In less exciting news, the goal Sophia Wilson scored for the Thorns on Saturday to turn a win into a draw marked the first time this version of the Royals has conceded a goal in the 90th minute or later that flipped the result of a match.
- The Kansas City Current won their 10th consecutive home game to extend an NWSL record. That streak was notably interrupted by their quarterfinal loss to Gotham in last year’s playoffs. Since CPKC Stadium opened in 2024, the Current are 26-1-5 in the regular season, 31-2-5 across all competitions.
- The Chicago Stars have played 12 games, and 11 of them have been shutouts. Unfortunately for the Stars, only 2 of those 11 have gone in their favor, and they are 3-9-0 in 15th place.
- As pointed out to me on Bsky, all five times the North Carolina Courage have played away to Angel City, the match has ended 2-1. That includes the first Angel City regular season game in 2022. Angel City won the first three of these matches, with the Courage winning the last two.
Checking in on the Golden Boot race:
- Barbra Banda (Orlando): 11 goals
- Temwa Chawinga (Kansas City), Ashley Sanchez (North Carolina): 7 goals
- Olivia Moultrie (Portland), Sophia Wilson (Portland), Dudinha (San Diego), Manaka Matsukubo (North Carolina): 5 goals
