Fulham interested in securing a permanent transfer for Jonah Kusi-Asare
Fulham is reportedly looking to permanently sign Swedish-Ghanaian forward Jonah Kusi-Asare, even though he has few first-team appearances in the Premier League. The striker has made only seven league appearances, accumulating less than an hour of playing time and yet to register a goal or an assist. However, his performances behind the scenes and his overall potential have reportedly convinced Fulham that he is worth keeping on a long-term basis. The English club, however, saw their first attempt to sign him collapse.According to the Bild-Podcast Bayern Insider, Fulham offered 3 million euros but received a clear rejection from Bayern Munich. Yet a second bid is expected. The club had already paid 4 million euros for last season’s loan and secured a purchase option, but now hopes to pay below that threshold.Kusi-Asare’s Bayern contract runs only until 2027, adding urgency to the situation. The striker made just one appearance in both the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons, reflecting limited opportunities at the German giant. Some observers note the purchase option includes a buy-back clause, raising questions about whether Fulham can accept such terms for a 17-year-old valued at 2.5 million with a 3 million purchase price. If Fulham believes strongly in his potential, the figures remain modest for the Premier League, though Bayern would clearly benefit most from such a deal.
