Asante Kotoko head coach Eric Tinkler has warned players to brace themselves for intense training sessions in the upcoming weeks.The former South African captain was named head coach of the Porcupine Warriors last week ahead of the 2026/27 football season.On Monday, the experienced coach took charge of his first training session at Adako Jachie, beginning his stint with the Ghanaian giants.During his session with the players, Tinkler emphasised the accuracy of the execution of the training drills, adding that the intensity of the sessions will increase in the coming weeks.This is the first training session. So, we’re not looking to kill you yet today.But for the rest of the week. We’ll kill you, but not today. Obviously, I will be assessing, and we’ll see how many sets we can actually achieve, Eric Tinkler said.
