Asante Kotoko are set to part ways with striker Kwame Poku as the club undergoes a major squad overhaul ahead of the 2026/27 season.The former Ghana U23 international is among several players expected to depart the Porcupine Warriors, with management looking to strengthen key areas following a disappointing campaign.Poku returned to Kotoko in the summer of 2025 on a free transfer after spells with USM Alger and Olympique Khouribga, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract. He scored four goals in 16 appearances during the 2025/26 season.A report by Kumasi-based Akoma FM indicates that ten players are set to leave the club, with Poku among those expected to depart .
