Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club have completed the signing of striker Emmanuel Fobi in a move to augment their squad for the 2026/27 football season.The team from Tarkwa, after winning the Premier League last season, will be representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League.Combining that with the challenge of competing for domestic titles, the club has decided to strengthen their squad.Medeama Sporting Club is delighted to announce the signing of Emmanuel Fobi on a three-year contract from Georgian top-flight side FC Dila Gori, the club announced in a statement on Friday.The statement added, The Ghanaian striker returns home to strengthen the Mauve and Yellow attack as we prepare to defend our Ghana Premier League title and mount another strong challenge on the continental stage.Fobi joins Medeama SC with valuable experience from European football, having spent time in Georgia with FC Dila Gori.During his development, he also enjoyed loan spells where he gained regular first-team football, including helping Tkibuli Meshakhte secure promotion after contributing four goals in 29 appearances before continuing his progress with FC Gori.With a lot of pace and attacking power, the forward could become a key weapon for Ibrahim Tankos side in the upcoming football season.
