Hearts of Oak have completed the permanent signing of former Hohoe United right-back Prince Amevor, with the defender putting pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Phobians.The 24-year-old right-back joins Hearts of Oak as a free agent following Hohoe United’s withdrawal from the Ghana Premier League, which granted all registered players free agent status.Amevor is a versatile full-back who can operate on either flank, earning a reputation as an attacking-minded defender with speed and quality in the final third.He made 26 appearances for Hohoe United during the 2025/26 season . His arrival adds depth to Hearts’ defensive department, with the club continuing to strengthen under head coach Nebojsa Kapor.Amevor’s signing continues Hearts of Oak’s recruitment drive ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
