Kwaku Karikari stars in Zeleznicar Pancevo's victory over FK Radnik Surdulica

Ghanaian attacker Kwaku Karikari produced a brilliant second-half display as Zeleznicar Pancevo hammered FK Radnik Surdulica 5-1 in the Serbian Super Liga. After Luka Zoric gave the hosts an early lead in the 11th minute, the game briefly tightened when Janko Jevremovic equalised just after the restart. From there, Karikari took control. He struck in the 61st minute to restore Zeleznicars advantage, then turned provider a minute later when he set up Aleksa Kuljanin for the third goal. Karikari was not finished, adding two more late finishes in the 72nd minute and in stoppage time to complete a superb hat trick and seal a one-sided result.Zeleznicar dominated the numbers as well, enjoying 63 percent possession, 17 shots and nine efforts on target. They also spent far more time in dangerous areas, with 40 touches in the opposition box compared with only six for Radnik. The performance underlined Karikaris growing influence and gave Zeleznicar a big confidence boost. They will now turn their attention to Novi Pazar, whom they face on September 4.
