Ghanaian midfielder Frank Junior Adjei found the net, but Hammarby still fell 3-2 to AIK in a dramatic Allsvenskan clash at Strawberry Arena.Adjei gave Hammarby an early lead in the 14th minute, finishing off a bright start, but the derby quickly swung back in AIKs favor.AIK equalised through Linus Carlstrand just a minute later, before Paulos Abraham restored their advantage late in first-half stoppage time. Axel Kouame made it 2-2 in the 72nd minute, only for Sixten Gustafsson to strike again in the 83rd and seal the win for the home side.Adjei was replaced in the 65th minute after making his mark, while Hammarby now turn to their next fixture against Orgryte on September 6. The result was a frustrating one for a team that did much of the attacking but left empty-handed.
