Ghana FA Cup champions Nations FC will begin their maiden CAF Confederation Cup campaign when they travel to Mali to face FC Diarra in the first leg of their preliminary-round tie on Saturday.The match is scheduled for 4pm Ghana time, with Nations FC hoping to secure a positive result away from home before the return leg in Accra.Nations FC enter the competition after winning the 2025/26 Ghana FA Cup, earning their first opportunity to compete in continental football. CAF lists the club among the teams beginning their Confederation Cup journey this season.The Ghanaian side will need to put their recent disappointment against Medeama behind them after losing 2-0 in the Champion of Champions last Sunday.FC Diarra will also be making their debut in the competition and will be eager to make home advantage count.
