John Terry was on Theo Walcott’s TikTok (try and find a more 2026 sentence) where he spoke to the former Arsenal star about their predictions for the Premier League this year.
When asked which of their former teams would finish higher in the league this year, Terry had to be honest:
“Unfortunately, it will be Arsenal. We’re still a couple of years from competing for a title. [Arsenal] have the chance to dominate the Premier League.”
Arsenal set to finish clear of Chelsea again

Does anyone disagree with that? We expect them to finish miles ahead of us, frankly. They’re still so superior defensively, and have so much momentum and unity as a group. The only thing that can cost them is losing their edge slightly now they’ve got the title they craved.
Even then, that will only close the gap to us slightly. Unless we see a miraculous improvement in Chelsea’s defence, we think this just has to be a year of trying to get closer to them rather than catch them. Still, as long as it’s something to build on…

Chelsea got off lightly for breaking Premier League rules – but they did a lot of work to make that the case.
Jacobo Ramon is a rising talent in European football, and there’s a lot of evidence that Chelsea are keen on signing him.
Chelsea continue to be linked with all manner of defenders as they look to solve a deep-rooted defensive malaise in the squad.
