Gio Reyna enjoyed a positive international break with the U.S. Men’s National Team and if Strasbourg wants to upset Paris Saint-Germain this weekend, the French club will need him to replicate that impact.
Reyna and his Strasbourg teammates welcome the reigning Ligue 1 champions to town, seeking a statement result on home soil. The USMNT midfielder registered two assists over the four-match international break and most recently logged 27 minutes off the bench in Strasbourg’s 2-1 loss to Nice in the resumption of league action.
Reyna has scored once in six appearances for Strasbourg since joining from Borussia Moenchengladbach last summer. He has been one of Strasbourg’s creative threats through the opening stages of the new campaign and will be a player that PSG monitors throughout the match.
Strasbourg has only won one of its last 10 meetings with PSG in all competitions, with that lone result coming at home in May 2025.
In England, Tyler Adams and Bournemouth welcome Sunderland to the Vitality Stadium. Brenden Aaronson and Leeds United host Manchester United.
