Arsenal ‘in contact’ with Endrick over potential January move

Arsenal are in contact with the representatives of Real Madrid striker Endrick ahead of the January transfer window.

The Premier League champions are long-term admirers of the Brazilian, who is being considered as an option to boost the club’s forward line.

Bukayo Saka’s latest injury and doubts over Viktor Gyokeres’ future have seen Arsenal assess the market for potential additions. Endrick’s ability to operate at centre-forward and from the right increase his appeal.

The 20-year-old is understood to be frustrated with his role in the Spanish capital. He’s played just 73 minutes of La Liga football after returning from a six-month loan spell at Lyon last season. During that stint, Endrick recorded 12 goal involvements (5G, 7A) in 14 Ligue 1 appearances for the French side.

TEAMtalk report that Arsenal have maintained contact with Endrick’s camp are are ready to offer the forward the chance of a fresh start in English football. Endrick has fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu, following the summer arrivals of Carlos Espi and Yan Diomande.
