
Korean League heavyweights Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors have confirmed the acquisition of seasoned Ghanaian winger Patrick Twumasi, strengthening their attack for the remainder of the 2025 campaign.The 31-year-old attacker, renowned for his explosive pace and direct approach, joins the South Korean side from Israeli outfit Beitar Jerusalem.Twumasi boasts vast international experience, having featured in top-flight competitions such as La Liga, Bundesliga 2, the Kazakhstan Premier League, and the Israeli Premier League.His standout years came at FC Astana, where he tallied an impressive 53 goals and 31 assists in 143 appearances, a run that secured him a move to Spanish La Liga side Deportivo Alaves.He later went on to play for clubs like Hannover 96 and Maccabi Netanya.In the 2024/25 season, he remained a key performer for Beitar Jerusalem, scoring 7 goals and contributing 2 assists across 38 appearances.Now registered under the name Chumasha and wearing jersey number 21, Twumasi has already begun training with his new teammates and is tipped to make an immediate impact.Jeonbuk supporters will be eager to witness the Ghanaian’s dynamism as the club pursues both domestic honours and continental success.Twumasi has three international caps for the Ghana national team since marking his debut in October 2017.
