Mohammed Kudus is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday as he edges closer to joining Tottenham Hotspur from West Ham United in a deal worth around £55 million.
The Ghana international has agreed to personal terms with Spurs and will sign a six-year contract once the medical is completed. Kudus has been keen on the move, with Tottenham emerging as his preferred destination if he were to leave West Ham.
Spurs had an initial £50 million bid turned down but returned with an improved offer that was accepted. Kudus’ current contract with West Ham, which runs until 2028, contains a release clause active only during the first 10 days of July, set at £80 million for clubs outside England, £85 million for Premier League sides, and £120 million for teams from Saudi Arabia.
The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 for â¬41.5 million. He scored eight goals and provided nine assists in his first season across all competitions. Last season, he played 35 league matches, registering five goals and four assists.
