Charlton Athletic forward Zoe Barratt has joined FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division club AFC Bournemouth.
The Addicks confirmed the news via a post on their official club X account this morning.
The 22-year-old moves to the South Coast after spending the first half of the season with Charlton Athletic. She joined the South East L0ndoners last summer after impressing in her time playing for third tier side Oxford United. Barratt has been a regular amongst the Charlton Athletic substitutes this season but her game time has been limited.
The youngster will now hope to return to the goal trail in her time at AFC Bournemouth.
Speaking after sealing her move to AFC Bournemouth, Barratt told the club’s official media team “I’m so excited to be joining AFC Bournemouth.
“I really can’t wait to get started and meeting the girls has been so nice.
“Obviously, I’ve had a great experience with Charlton over the last couple of months but I’m really excited to take what I’ve learned from that and bring it here.”
Barratt is expected to get straight to work at AFC Bournemouth, starting with this afternoon’s FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division fixture against Watford.
We can confirm that Zoe Barratt will be departing the club to join AFC Bournemouth.
We would like to thank Zoe for all her work for Charlton Athletic and wish her the best of luck in the future ❤️#cafc pic.twitter.com/D46yP0UwRq
