
King Faisal owner Alhaji Karim Grusah has called for the resignation of Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku, following the Black Stars disappointing performance in their 4-2 defeat to The Gambia.Grusah, who previously served on the Black Stars Management Committee during Ghanas 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign in Qatar, was scathing in his assessment of the teams performance.Asked to rate the Black Stars performance level against The Gambia, Grusah responded: Zero.He then turned his criticism towards the leadership of the GFA, calling on Okraku to step down.The GFA President should resign hes a liar. He should resign, Grusah said.His comments come after the Black Stars surrendered a 2-0 lead against The Gambia at the Accra Sports Stadium before eventually losing 4-2 in their second Group C match of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.The defeat followed Ghanas 2-0 loss to Cote dIvoire in Bouak, leaving the Black Stars without a point from their opening two matches.Grusah has been a long-standing figure in Ghana football and has frequently spoken publicly about the administration and performance of the national team. He was part of the Black Stars Management Committee during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
