According to The Athletic, Arsenal are “exploring a move” to sign Vinicius if Real fail to extend his contract.
The Gunners’ interest in the forward is still at an “early stage” and there has been no direct contact between the two clubs, but the idea has been approved “at all levels” within the north London outfit.
The report adds that there has been no breakthrough in negotiations over a new contract for Vinicius. Real would be unwilling to lose one of their key players for nothing, which would be compounded by the fact he is due a loyalty bonus next year.
