Atletico Madrid have reportedly made Liverpool full-back Andy Robertson a ‘top’ target in the summer transfer window.
With Reinildo Mandava’s departure imminent, the Spanish outfit are prioritising a new left-back ahead of next season.
Robertson is “appreciated internally as the ideal candidate”, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer is “not an easy deal” as Liverpool still rate him highly, even though his minutes are likely to be reduced by the pending arrival of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.
Robertson is said to be above Theo Hernandez on Atletico’s shortlist. The AC Milan left-back has been linked with a return to the club cam through as a youngster. Theo moved to rivals Real Madrid before ever making a senior appearance for the club, in 2017.
Three other Premier League left-backs are on Atletico’s radar, according to Fichajes. It’s claimed they are looking at Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko, currently at Arsenal, Lucas Digne of Aston Villa, and Crystal Palace’s Tyrick Mitchell.
