Bayern Munich head to the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final, setting up a huge clash between two European heavyweights.
The German champions come into this game in outstanding form, unbeaten in their last 19 matches, winning 17 and drawing two. They recently secured their 35th Bundesliga title with four games left to play. Their latest outing, a dramatic 4-3 comeback win over Mainz, highlighted their fighting spirit, having picked up a league-best 25 points from losing positions this season.
Bayern have also been the standout team in this season’s Champions League, winning 11 matches and averaging 3.2 goals per game. Harry Kane has been exceptional, scoring a record 53 goals this season, while the team has netted 113 league goals until now, breaking the Bundesliga’s all-time scoring record.
