Bibiani Gold Stars coach Petros Koukouras has called for greater passion and a stronger team mentality as his side prepares to face Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League.Gold Stars suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Port City in their Matchweek 4 encounter at Duns Park in Bibiani, with defender Michael Abina receiving a red card during the game.Reflecting on the performance, Koukouras admitted that his team fell below the standards expected of them and urged his players to prioritise collective interests.”You see, in the last game, the performance was not according to our standards. I would say that a lot of players, they put individual performance over the team. We were holding the ball more than we should. And there was I would say lack of passion because we lost most of aerial duels we were behind in 1v1s so first of all we have to to be more passionate we have to put the team before our personal interests and we have to present the team first of all,” he told Bibiani Gold Stars media.Gold Stars sit 16th with three points after four games and will face Vision FC on Saturday at the Nii Adjei Kraku Sports Complex at 3pm.
