
Black Maidens goalkeeper Rahima Abubakari has appealed to Ghanaians to rally behind the team as they prepare for their crucial FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Liberia.
The young shot-stopper believes the team is well prepared for the decisive encounter and is determined to secure victory after an encouraging period of training.
Speaking ahead of the match, Abubakari highlighted the positive atmosphere in camp and expressed optimism about the team’s readiness for the challenge.
“Since we arrived everything has been going on well with us and training and everything has been good. And we are willing to win this game we are will prepared and much ready we are going to play more done we played in Accra. We are pleading with Ghanaians to give us a massive support and we are going to win this game,” she told GFA Communications.
The Black Maidens will be aiming to build on their massive first leg performance when they faced Liberia at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The game will be played at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Stadium at 4:00 pm on Saturday.
