The Black Princesses of Ghana are set to discover their group-stage opponents for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup as the official draw takes place today, May 15.
The draw ceremony for the tournament, which will be hosted in Poland later this year, will be held at the EC1 Cultural Centre in Åódź, one of the four designated host cities.
The other cities selected to host matches for the global competition are Bielsko-BiaÅa, Katowice, and Sosnowiec.
Ghana will be among the 24 qualified nations participating in the draw for the prestigious biennial tournament as countries await confirmation of their group-stage fixtures.
The 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup is scheduled to run from September 5 to September 27, 2026.
The Black Princesses secured qualification for the tournament for the eighth time after edging Uganda 3-2 on aggregate in the qualification playoffs.
