BlueCo club set for sales that could reach €100m this summer


Strasbourg’s player trading system is well and truly up and running, and they’re close to two sales which could total €70m or more.

Chelsea have made a good start to their summer in terms of sales, and it seems their BlueCo sister club Strasbourg are going the same way.

L’Equipe report that after signing four players already this summer, the Alsatians are fielding major offers for two of their star players.

Diego Moreira has Roma bidding for him, while Julio Enciso is wanted by Galatasaray. The former could go for as much as €35m according to this report, and Enciso will fetch a similar price. It’s a sign of the transformation at the Meinau that they will be making sales totally perhaps €100m or more this summer.

With Emmanuel Emegha having joined the Blues permanently, Valentin Barco likely to join him and Mike Penders having been recalled from his loan, it will be very interesting to see which Chelsea players head to Alsace this summer as we look to top up our partner club’s reserves of talent.

There are a number of youngsters ready to make a first step into the senior game, and Strasbourg have proved themselves to be the perfect destination.

Chelsea have got a serious offer for Alejandro Garnacho – it doesn’t feel like the Blues will accept it, but it’s a promising sign that there are teams interested.
