Confirmed line-ups as Alonso makes wholesale changes

Chelsea‘s pre-season schedule continues as they take on Malaysian champions Johor Darul Ta’zim.

The game comes less than 24 hours after the Blues ran out comfortable 3-0 winners over Italian side AC Milan.

Xabi Alonso’s men have endured mixed fortunes in terms of results so far in pre-season, falling to defeats against Juventus and Tottenham.

However, Joao Pedro, who was left out of Brazil’s squad for the World Cup, his netted five goals so far, including a brace against Milan.

Johor, meanwhile, are likely to provide a stern test. Managed by former Watford and Sheffield Wednesday boss Xisco Munoz, they dominated domestically last season, scoring 117 goals in 24 league matches, conceding only 10 and dropping points just once.

Twenty-one-year-old Dario Essugo captains the side, while Estevao and Liam Delap provide the threat in attack.
