England-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Eddie Nketiah, starred with a brace for Crystal Palace on Tuesday night in the teams 4-2 comeback victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.The former Arsenal striker started for the Eagles in their penultimate encounter in the 2024/25 English Premier League season.On the matchday, Wolverhampton Wanderers scored first through defender Emmanuel Agbadou in the 24th minute.Just three minutes later, Eddie Nketiah struck home his first equaliser of the night to restore parity for Crystal Palace.Shortly after, in the 32nd minute, Nketiah netted his second to give Palace the lead for the first time in the match after he was set up by Senegalese winger Ismaila Sarr.With momentum on the side of the FA Cup champions, the team went into the break with a lot of confidence and finished off the game in the second half with a good performance.Crystal Palace netted a third through a deflected Ben Chilwell free kick in the 50th minute before Eberechi Eze climbed off the bench to slam the hammer on the final nail to put the game to bed.Before Eze’s goal, Jorgen Strand Larsen netted a second consolation goal for Wolves in the 62nd minute.Eddie Nketiah, 25, played 81 minutes of the contest before making way for Jean-Philippe Mateta.With his goal against Wolves, the English-Ghanaian forward now has three goals and one assist in the current English Premier League campaign.
