Ghana placed in Group W for 2026 FIFA U-15 Boys World Cup and Festival



Ghanas National U-15 Boys team will compete in Group W at the FIFA U-15 Boys World Cup and Festival, which will take place in Azerbaijan from 22 to 31 October 2026.

Ghana will begin their campaign against Uzbekistan on Saturday, 24 October. They are scheduled to play two more matches the following day, Sunday, 25 October, when they will face Myanmar and Guam.

Their final two group fixtures are set for Monday, 26 October, against Bahamas and Kazakhstan.

The tournament schedule gives Ghana five matches across three days, with the team set to meet Uzbekistan first before taking on Myanmar, Guam, Bahamas and Kazakhstan.

The squad is currently based in Accra for a training camp as preparations continue for the tournament. The camp is intended to help the players build momentum ahead of their participation in Azerbaijan.

As part of their preparations, Ghana played two friendly matches against the U-15 team of John Paintsil Academy on Wednesday at the Adjiringanor Astro Turf.

They recorded convincing victories in both games, winning the first match 5-1 before completing the double with a 6-1 triumph in the second fixture.

The Ghana Football Association, through GFA Communications, released the teams FIFA U-15 Boys World Cup and Festival group-stage schedule.
