Ghanaian midfielder Bismarck Edjeodji has been nominated for the Danish Superliga Young Player of the Month for August award.
The 18-year-old enjoyed an outstanding first month in the Danish top tier with Vejle Boldklub, earning him a spot in the category for the coveted accolade.
Edjeodji, who joined Vejle Boldklub from Bechem United in July, faces competition from compatriots and FC Nordsjaelland duo Caleb Yirenkyi and Prince Amoako Jr.
Also on the list are Thomas Jorgensen of Viborg, Clement Bischoff – who recently joined Red Bull Salzburg from Brondby IF – and Hjalte Bidstrup of Viborg.
The former Bechem United starlet has already delivered three assists in six games for the club in the league.
Fans will vote for the Young Player of the Month with the winner set to be announced after the international break.
