Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani is demanding improvement from his players after the team’s goalless draw against Heart of Lions on Friday afternoon.
The Phobians locked horns with their Week 26 opponent of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season at the Kpando Sports Stadium, hoping to secure a win to end a three-game winless run.
Despite putting up a fight throughout 90 minutes, Hearts of Oak were not effective in front of goal and had to settle for a point at the end of the contest.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Didi Dramani praised his players for their efforts but stressed the need to continue pushing to become better.
“I think that they [the players] put in the right energy, the right efforts, but I think we need to improve in certain key areas. We have transformed so much, but we need to improve in some moments. We have a lot to improve on,” Didi Dramani said.
Following the draw against Heart of Lions, Hearts of Oak have failed to close in on league leaders Medeama SC.
The Phobians sit third in the league standings with 42 points, but could fall out of the top four if results from the other games on Sunday go against them.
