
Hearts of Oak midfielder Raphael Amponsah has been named Man of the Match (MoTM) after the team’s 1-0 victory against Dreams Football Club in the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians locked horns with the Still Believe lads on Monday afternoon in a Week 2 fixture of the new league campaign.
In a game played at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown, a solitary strike from midfielder Mohammed Hussein in the 14th minute propelled Hearts of Oak to the important victory.
Raphael Amponsah, who started the game for the Phobians, put up a splendid performance on the matchday, not just bossing the midfield for his side but breaking the plays of the opponent and driving his team forward.
For his efforts, he has been named Man of the Match.
Hearts of Oak’s win against Dreams FC on Monday has lifted the side to fourth in the Ghana Premier League standings with four points.
Meanwhile, Dreams FC, winless in their first two matches of the season, are in the relegation zone.
