Inside COPA STC: A New Standard for Soccer Development

Inside COPA STC: A New Standard for Soccer Development

For decades, many soccer development environments have leaned on repetition, rankings, and early evaluations that can overemphasize short-term performance. COPA Soccer Training Center (STC) is built for long-term development using objective assessment, technology, and athlete-first coaching to help players understand where they are, what matters next, and how to improve. Spanning 117,000 square feet and welcoming nearly 750,000 visitors each year, COPA STC brings together training, testing, and feedback in a Laboratory environment designed to make progress visible over time.

What sets COPA STC apart is a simple belief: the best training is intentional — it builds transferable skill through clear feedback and repeatable benchmarks. Instead of training that looks good only in drills, athletes are challenged with game-relevant environments that develop technique, movement, and decision-making. The result is training that’s engaging, measurable, and built to translate to match play.

At the heart of the COPA experience is the COPA Score, a comprehensive player assessment designed to evaluate technical, physical, and cognitive performance using objective data. Rather than a one-time evaluation, the COPA Score serves as a standardized benchmark athletes can repeat over time. In 2025 alone, more than 4,750 COPA Scores were completed, helping players and families track development, priorities, and see progress clearly.

COPA STC is also home to some of the most rare and advanced training technologies in the world. Within the space are the COPA Cube and the skills.lab Arena — two proprietary environments that measure passing accuracy, speed, finishing, and decision-making under pressure. The innovation lab itself is one of only four globally and the only one of its kind in the United States, reinforcing COPA STC’s position at the forefront of modern player development.

Beyond the technology, COPA STC thrives because of its community. The center serves more than 1,273 dedicated members and continues to grow as a hub for players of all ages and levels. Despite cutting-edge approaches to training, the joy of the game is always at the forefront of the COPA STC ideology. Sessions are designed to be competitive, engaging, and fun, fostering curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love for soccer alongside performance growth.

COPA Soccer Training Center isn’t just preparing players for their next match — it’s shaping how soccer will be trained in the years to come. And this spring, that vision comes to life in a powerful way at SocceristaFest.

SocceristaFest is a one-day immersive experience hosted at COPA STC bringing together players and parents who truly live the game. The day features hands-on access to COPA STC’s high-tech training environments, mindset-building sessions with expert speakers, meaningful community connection, meet & greets with professional players, and an inside look at what modern soccer development can be!
