In this week’s edition of Anatomy of a Goal, we’re taking a look at Racing Louisville’s score against the Houston Dash.

This was the first goal that Racing scored after being held scoreless over their last three matches. Though they ultimately allowed Houston to equalize in the waning minutes of second-half stoppage time, Louisville managed to snap their five-game losing streak and come away with a point in this one.

Before we break it down, let’s take a look at the sequence in full.

This total team goal started deep in Racing’s defensive third. To kick off the goal sequence, Makenna Morris was hit with a pass with her back to the sideline.
