
England-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Gideon Kodua, has completed a permanent move to Luton Town FC.
The English League One club announced the deal in an official statement on its website on Friday, February 6.
“We are excited to confirm that Luton Town Football Club has triggered its option to transfer Gideon Kodua from West Ham on a permanent basis, subject to EFL approval.
“Everyone at the Club will be buoyed by this news ahead of Saturday’s home game with Bradford City, which kicks off at 12:31pm as part of the British Heart Foundation’s âEvery Minute Matters’ campaign,” the club said.
Kodua, 21, has been in sensational form during the opening half of the season. He so far boasts of 10 goals after making 31 appearances for the English lower-division club.
His hard work and dedication have made him a firm fans’ favourite at Kenilworth Road and have now earned him a permanent deal.
Despite holding an English passport, Kodua is eligible to play for Ghana, the country of his parents.
