All statistics reference regular season games only except where noted.

Player stats

Kaleigh Kurtz has now played 129 consecutive regular season matches and 11,682 consecutive minutes. Both are league records. The streaks began June 26, 2021 while playing for the Courage. (The unrounded number is due to a rain-shortened match in 2023.)

Kate Del Fava remains minute-perfect for the Royals having played all 6,120 over 68 games since the team launched in 2024. Those are the longest streaks from the start of any expansion team.

Rob Gale’s record is safe. His six consecutive wins with the Thorns to open his NWSL coaching career will remain the standard after Angel City lost to Louisville on Sunday. Angel City’s interim, Leif Gunnar Smerud, had started 3-0-0. Casey Stoney (2022 Wave) and Juan Carlos Amoros (2022 Dash) also started 3-0-0.

The Golden Boot race remained static with leader Barbra Banda in Morocco for the Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON). Temwa Chawinga, trailing Banda 12-9, is also at WAFCON. Ashley Sanchez is also on 9 goals and did not score on the weekend. Neither did Trinity Rodman or Sophia Wilson who are next with 7. Chawinga is looking for her 3rd consecutive Golden Boot which would match Sam Kerr’s record (2017-2019).

Team stats

Laura Harvey won her 100th game as head coach of the Seattle Reign, making her the first NWSL coach to hit the century mark for one club. Harvey had 51 wins between 2013 and 2017. Sunday was her 49th since returning to the team in 2021. The coach with the next most wins with one club is Rory Dames who had 79 with the then Chicago Red Stars. The next active coach is Seb Hines who has 49 wins with the Pride.

Harvey’s 100th regular season win with the Reign was also the club’s 50th regular season road win.

The Courage’s 3rd straight loss tied a franchise record. It is the 5th time the Courage have lost three games in a row. The team did not lose three straight during its time in Western New York.

Kailen Sheridan’s three straight losses also ties the Courage club record. This previously happened twice to Sabrina D’Angelo and three times to Casey Murphy. One of the D’Angelo streaks came in Western New York.

The Stars were shut out again on the weekend meaning they will play at least their first 17 games without scoring in two in a row. That extends a league record. It was also their 12th time being shutout this season. The only teams to be blanked more in one season were 2021 Kansas City NWSL (now Current) with 13 and the 2018 Washington Spirit’s with 15.

Maiara Niehues’s Angel City record for goals in consecutive games was snapped at five.

Sam Kerr scored her first goal since returning to Gotham, and trails Esther Gonzalez 30-29 at the top of the team’s all-time list. Esther departed Gotham on Monday, meaning Kerr is likely to move ahead before much longer.

Angel City’s winning and shutout streaks ended at three. The win streak tied a team record set earlier this season. The shutout run was a first. The team’s record for shutout minutes, 324 in 2022, stands.

Karlie Lema was held off the scoreboard in Houston and will share Bay FC’s record for consecutive games with a goal, three, with Penelope Hocking (2025).

The Royals scored four goals in a game for the first time.
