Tim Weah enjoyed a positive season with Juventus, but now reportedly looks set to a move to the English Premier League.
Nottingham Forest has agreed a deal to acquire both Weah and Samuel Mbangula in a pair of separate transfers, ESPN reported Monday. Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad will now aim to agree personal terms with both players, according to the report.
Juventus are set to receive roughly €22 million for the pair of players.
Weah, 25, is currently part of Juventus’ involvement at the FIFA Club World Cup, although has only featured in one of the Bianconeri’s two group stage matches. Igor Tudor’s men have already clinched a Round of 16 berth heading into Thursday’s clash with Manchester City.
Weah scored six goals and added four assists in 43 appearances across all competitions for Juventus last season. He’s made 78 appearances for the club since joining from French side Lille in January 2023.
The New York native has earned 44 caps for the U.S. men’s national team to date, but has yet to feature in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad this year.
Nottingham Forest are preparing for UEFA Europa Conference League involvement after finishing seventh in the Premier League last May.
