With the 2026 NWSL season approaching, the release of the 16 teams’ new jerseys has received well-deserved attention. Soccer fans can feel the buzz surrounding the upcoming season and the new kits designed by Nike just elevate the excitement. Have you gotten a chance to check out the new unis? If not, do not worry! We are here to take a look at them and see how the players will be suited for the season.
Nike x NWSL
Nike really showed out with these kits. From relating the designs for each team to key values connected to the cities to extending the boldness that NWSL has long embraced with its players, the 2026 kits are creative, fun, and meaningful.
Angel City
With the resemblance of sun rays, Nike obviously took into consideration Southern California’s sunshine. Angel City stars will surely play with pride showing off their sol-inspired unis!
Washington Spirit
Blooming with both talent and culture, Spirit’s new kit taps into the city’s beauty during the springtime. Hal Hershfelt and teammates are set to blossom in style on the pitch.
Portland Thorns
For a club that has embraced trials and prioritized their grit, the Thorn’s Electric Bloom kit is a stunner in color and meaning. The brightness surely contrasts previous darker-shaded kits in the club’s past, yet the power in the club’s culture is no different than ever. With the return of star striker Sophia Wilson the club is aiming to grace the field in both style and strength.
North Carolina Courage
Symbolized by a Venus flytrap, NC Courage’s jersey reflects the club’s patient and persistent nature. There’s a lot to look forward to for NC Courage as Ashley Sanchez leads the way.
Utah Royals
Royalty has never looked so stellar! Represented by the club’s Queen Bee, there’s no doubt players and fans are buzzing for the season to start.
San Diego Wave
Simple yet vibrant, Wave’s kit is a definite artwork. The style reflects the club’s electric colors while balancing a calmness that pays tribute to the people who make Balboa Park a meaningful place.
Racing Louisville FC
One common theme among all the new kits is popping colors, but Racing Louisville surely takes a spin on it. Honoring the disco ball era, the electric mint and purple colors dance on the jerseys just as many of the players will move along on the pitch. Chicago Stars
Did someone say classic? Well, Chicago’s kit surely takes inspiration from the city’s flag. Known as the Chicago DNA jersey, the iconic red, white, and blue the Stars are known for is styled to reflect the club’s commitment to culture.

Newcomer club Denver Summit FC is arriving in style. The white, orange, and green all speak to Colorado’s snowy mountains, greeny nature, and colorful sunsets.

Honoring the 10 year mark since the tragic shooting at Pulse Night Club, Orlando Pride’s kit is powerful and vibrant. Not only does the jersey represent unity, but Pride is also using the funds received from jersey sales to donate to Orlando United Resiliency Services which supports the LGBTQ+ community.
Seattle Reign
