Watford sign Welsh international forward Teisar

Watford have completed the signing of Welsh international forward Tianna Teisar on a permanent deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Golden Girls this afternoon.

The 20-year-old striker joins Watford on a free transfer after recently leaving Bristol City. Teisar came through The Robins’ academy system and she pushed for opportunities in the first team.

Teisar has built her senior playing experience in loan spells with Gwalia United and Plymouth Argyle. She spent the 2025/2026 campaign with The Pilgrims and so nearly fired the Devon side to promotion. Teisar netted eight goals in 19 outings in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division as Plymouth Argyle almost reached the elite game against the odds.

On the international stage, Teisar has been capped by Wales on a couple of occasions at senior level.

Watford know all about Teisar’s goalscoring qualities with The Golden Girls having competed alongside her former club Plymouth Argyle last season. They will be hoping that she can find the back of the net at Barclays WSL2 level on a regular basis this season.

Teisar is Watford’s eighth signing of what has been an eventful summer transfer window so far.
